5 Day Flying Safari Kidepo

This is an afternoon flight so check in at Entebbe airport in time for your flight. The flight will last for about an hour coupled with views of the country from above. The views will mostly be settlements, farms and forests as you fly to your destination in the Northeast. On arrival, we shall be waiting for you at the airfield and then continue to the lodge for check in. Initial relaxation in the lodge and then later on head out with the safari driver guide for an evening game drive in the park, specifically in the Narus valley. This is a good game viewing location as most of the animals converge here to have a drink to wash down the sumptuous meal they’ve had for lunch.
Later return to the lodge for dinner and sleeping.

Today, we have a packed breakfast to be enjoyed as we watch game. So we shall leave the lodge pretty early to catch up with the morning rise of the sun which also reminds the mammals that it’s a new day, the birds that sing so beautifully in the morning to be watched and praised. Be on the lookout for the lions, giraffes, elephants, the elusive Eland, ostrich and so much more.

These are a special ethnic group in Uganda whose heritage is very much connected to that of the Masai in Kenya. The visit to their homestead gives us a chance to listen to their folklore, taste samples of their food, dance and sing with them, laugh with them as we share stories about celebrations, sadness and life in general.

In the morning, we shall be early to drive out to the hike of Sipi falls in the ranges of Mt. Elgon. On arrival, we shall visit the caves and hike to the falls then back to the car to transfer back to Kidepo Valley national park.

The flying team will be available to fly you back to Uganda’s international airport where you will relax for some two days as you visit the Mabamba wetlands, the Zoo, Botanical gardens or even a sunset boat cruise on the spectacular Lake Victoria. It is dependent on your interest.
