Day 2 Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Our private safari guide will pick you up from your Arusha lodging in the morning. We set out for Tarangire National Park on a good tarmac road across gently rolling Masai plains with scattered acacia trees. As we speed ahead, we pass a lot of Masai in their vibrant clothing wandering alongside the road, riding bicycles, herding livestock, and pulling carts pulled by donkeys. Numerous more animals can be seen at Tarangire National Park, which is widely renowned for its sizable elephant herds. We explore the seasonal marshes, savanna, and life-giving Tarangire River from the open roof of our cutting-edge safari vehicle to spot a variety of animals, including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe, to mention a few. We might catch a glimpse of a lion hunting a prey item or a leopard watching, lounging in the branches above.
After an extensive game drive, having experienced the various sights and sounds of the wilderness, you will leave the park and drive to the Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 Central Serengeti National Park (Seronera)
We left for the renowned Serengeti National Park, the starting point of the Great Migration, after breakfast. Driving up the crater highlands and halting at the rim for a bird’s-eye view of the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater offers breathtaking sights. The huge Serengeti is spread out in front of you as you go on. More than 2 million large animals, including more than a million wildebeest, live in this 6,900 square mile (18,000 square km) park known as Serengeti, which in Kiswahili means “endless plains.” This abundance of migratory prey attracts large predators to the area, including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Rock hyrax, bat eared foxes, mongooses, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, and African hares are among the smaller creatures that live there.
After an extensive game drive, we drive to the Seronera Valley for an evening meal and overnight stay.
Accommodation: Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge
Day 4 North Serengeti following the migration
We start our game drive to the Serengeti’s northern sector early in the morning. The Northern Serengeti, which extends from Seronera for roughly 100 km, is a gently rolling landscape punctuated by little rivers, sporadic hills, and kopjes. A diverse permanent population of fauna may be found here, along with some really spectacular geological features like the lovely Lobo Kopje. The Northern Serengeti is an intriguing and diverse region that receives fewer visitors because it is located far from the park’s major access point in the south.
The migration passes through this region in August, and if we’re lucky, we’ll get to see one of the most impressive river crossings as the herd attempts to bridge the Mara River while dodging the fast currents and ravenous crocodiles.
After a full day, we head for our accommodation where we enjoy dinner and our night of sleep under the magnificent African sky out upon the ‘Endless Plain’
From August to October
Luxury: Mara Mara Tented Lodge / Mara Under Canvas
Day 5 North Serengeti
You will leave after a leisurely breakfast to maximize the day. There’s a possibility you’ll witness the creatures cross the Mara River. Hundreds of thousands of frightened wildebeest congregate on the river’s banks, staring longingly across the choppy water at the lush grass on the other side, but no animal moves. All it takes is for one daring wildebeest to jump in, and the rest will follow! The rich green grazing grass of the Masai Mara awaits the animals who successfully dodge the crocodile jaws and cross the river.

Day 6 Central Serengeti
After breakfast, you’ll head back to Seronera and have more chances to take in the Serengeti’s amazing animals and scenic splendour.
In addition to the migratory herds, we might get the chance to observe the local predators, like as the lion, cheetah, and leopard, as they play their part in the cycle of life.
After a lengthy game drive, we return to our accommodations for a substantial meal and another night spent relaxing by the fire and having conversations while taking in the expansive beauty of the starry African night on the “Endless Plain.”

Day 8 Ngorongoro Crater
After a delicious breakfast, you will drive down the challenging slope into the crater. Early risers are rewarded with breathtaking views of the rising sun over the crater’s edge. This UNESCO world heritage site is 610 m deep and stretches across around 260 square kilometers. It was developed millions of years ago. Of all the parks in Tanzania, the crater offers the best game viewing because of its substantial animal population of about 25,000. You can view wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area in a couple of minutes. If you’re lucky, you might be able to see an endangered black rhino through the grass. After an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch you will leave the crater in the afternoon to travel back to Karatu.
