This three-day luxury safari was created to provide our customers a thorough introduction to all Tanzania has to offer. In breathtaking settings, you will feel the thrill of an African wildlife safari. On this safari, we travel to Tarangire National Park, which is renowned for its herds of elephants and recognizable Baobab trees. You will also go to Ngorongoro Crater, the best location in Tanzania to see the Big Five and a breathtakingly beautiful setting.

Day 2 Tarangire National Park

Our private safari guide will pick you up from your Arusha lodging in the morning. We set out for Tarangire National Park on a good tarmac road across gently rolling Masai plains with scattered acacia trees. As we speed ahead, we pass a lot of Masai in their vibrant clothing wandering alongside the road, riding bicycles, herding livestock, and pulling carts pulled by donkeys. Numerous more animals can be seen at Tarangire National Park, which is widely renowned for its sizable elephant herds. We explore the seasonal marshes, savanna, and life-giving Tarangire River from the open roof of our cutting-edge safari vehicle in an effort to spot a variety of animals, including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe, to mention a few. We might catch a glimpse of a lion hunting a prey item or a leopard watching, lounging in the branches above.

After a full day in the Park, we will drive to the campsite where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night.

Accommodation: Kitela Lodge (Karatu)

Day 3 Ngorongoro Crater

Get up and shine! It is an early departure for the verdant highlands of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After arriving at the crater rim, you will descend a treacherous road into the 600-meter-deep caldera to observe a variety of animals and birds. More than 25,000 mammals, including the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard), as well as more than 500 bird species, call the caldera (collapsed volcano) home.

Your return to Arusha will take place in the early evening after a lengthy wildlife drive and a picnic lunch in the crater.
