Lake Mburo National Park is a unique wildlife habitat. It is one diverse in interests of plant and animal life. Located, southwards from Kampala, it is endowed with rolling green hills, rich acacia tree valleys, seasonal and permanent swamps. Over 65 mammal species and 315 bird species call it home.

Queen Elizabeth national Park on the other hand is another wildlife habitat and the most visited park in Uganda; located further south. It has two fresh water lakes joined by a water corridor called the Kazinga channel which registers one of the biggest populations of hippopotami in Africa. It has over 95 mammals and 600 bird species. The ecosystem is quite diverse as it offers the shady Kyambura gorge forest, savannah and lush wetlands. It also has some salt lakes. 5 – Day Queen Elizabeth and Lake Mburo National Park Safari , Uganda

We shall drive out after our breakfast southwards via the Equator. We shall have a stop here and have some pictures. We then continue further south, have lunch in Mbarara then continue to the park. On reaching we shall check into the lodge and later have an evening game drive. This is Uganda’s oldest national park and one of the most visited. On a lucky day, you have chances to see lions, leopards, elephants, cape buffaloes, Defassa waterbucks among others.

Today, we have an early morning game drive with a bush breakfast. We shall rise early and start on the lookout for animals in the park. It is after this morning game drive that we shall visit one of the salt lakes and get a bit of information on salt mining then return to the lodge for lunch.
After a sumptuous lunch, drive out again to the Mweya peninsula for a launch trip on the Kazinga channel. It is a water corridor that joins the lakes George and Edward. Here one finds a significant population of hippopotami, crocodiles, bird life that will give you a jaw drop. After the boat ride, we  then drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. You may have more chances to see other animals on the way.

After a very early breakfast, drive out to Kyambura gorge for chimpanzee tracking. At the briefing point, you will meet the rangers and a specialized guide who will lead the tracking exercise. Commence the exercise and then return later for a drive to the lodge.

Today, we have an early breakfast and check out of the lodge. We drive out of the park northwards to Lake Mburo NP Uganda’s smallest park. The park derives its name from the lake therein. Lunch on the way to the park then continue to the lodge for check in. The boat cruise will be starting in a few minutes, so you immediately proceed to the lake for that. On return in the evening, have a mini game drive and then continue for dinner and overnight.

A morning game drive after your breakfast. The drive gives you chances to see animals like the zebras, Topis, cape buffaloes, the elusive Elands, over 300 bird species.
After the game drive, you will continue by exiting te park and then drive to a nearby village to see the long horned cattle for your cultural dose in the Ankole kingdom.
On the way to Entebbe, you will have a stop at the equator then continue on your way direct for your departure flight or overnight.
